Do you ever feel unwanted?

Do you ever feel like you are the swine in the swine flu? Do you feel like you are unwanted because you’re damaged goods, messed up, imperfect, don’t have it all together? Do you ever feel like you gotten shoved away from the pack and left all alone? Do you ever feel unwanted?

The truth is we are all carriers of an incurable virus that infected us before birth and will infect everyone around us. It will infect and damage relationships and cause us to die. We are sin-sick.

“God demonstrates his own love for us in this: while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” (Romans 5:8)

No matter what anyone else thinks of you, what you have done in your past, or even what you think of yourself, you are God’s beloved child. He has promised to never leave you, forsake you, push you away to live alone in your sin sickness. He has called, healed, and restored you to a new life. He is close to you and holds you as his own.

Go live knowing you once were dead, but you now have the eternal life and everlasting, boundless love of the great God and king of this universe, Jesus!
