Do you love your church?

It’s almost Valentine’s Day and we’re talking love. So, do you love your church? I’ve had a long love-hate relationship with the church as a whole. But that has changed this year.

I was reminded of that growing love today! Today, I had the chance to meet with a church planter for lunch to talk about helping him evaluate his church. Later, I had the chance to speak to some church leaders tonight about the mission and vision of Access Church with regards to churches searching for what God has for them in this new generation and culture.

That may not sound like any big deal to you. It may even sound boring. But for me, it played to almost every one of my strengths, talents, and passions. It’s going to take awhile to fall asleep tonight.

So what does this have to do with love? Well, I don’t know if I convinced anyone of anything in either situation today. But God grew my love for this movement I’m getting to help lead and be a part of.

So this Valentine’s season, how do you feel about your church? Do you love your church?

Thanks for coming to speak with us tonight. You did a great job of communicating what you are all trying to accomplish at Access. I would love to come by and check out some services to experience it first hand.
